Why This Organization?
I'm moving to DC this month, and I want to spend the fall building for a team that's actually fighting for something. DPCC is where House Democrats' messaging gets made, and messaging in 2026 lives or dies on execution. You need clean graphics, tight video turnaround, and someone who knows how to hit a deadline.
I've spent the last three years running Keitz Digital, my own photo and video production company, so I already know how to operate inside tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects without dropping quality. I graduated summa cum laude, got a perfect score on the ACT NCRC, and I hold the same standard everywhere else in my life, whether that's a client deliverable, a grade, or a role I’m reaching out for. I don't think "good enough" is a real category.
Relevant Experience
I founded Keitz Digital in May 2023 and have grown it to 65+ active clients, including an embedded role producing content for Elfer Porsche Classics. Content I've produced and marketed has generated over 3 million views. I hold four Adobe Certified Associate certifications: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, the exact toolkit this fellowship asks for, and I use it daily.
Beyond the creative work, I've served as Editor in Chief of my high school's news network, which meant managing a team, a publishing cadence, and editorial judgment under deadline. I'm also a USSF-certified soccer referee with 300+ matches officiated and two NCSRA Jr. Referee of the Year nominations, which sounds unrelated until you consider that officiating means making fast, correct calls in real time without do-overs, the same pressure a communications team faces during a news cycle.
Other Things I've Built
"We Regret to Inform You" - A short documentary film, recognized by the All American High School Film Festival. Written, shot, and edited end to end.
Civic - A civic engagement rewards app for college students (React, TypeScript, Supabase, Gemini API for proof verification). Helped college students get involved politically while connecting them with rewards for activism.
Hackathon & DataFest Projects - I frequently attend college sponsored hackathons which gives me a technical background in coding. I've built across web, ML, and mobile using React, Python, Firebase, and Vercel, and the frequently build and ship projects within 24-36 (see above, I work with deadlines)
